Mad Marv (a pseudonym)
is indeed an interesting person. Before allowing Crypto-American Press to publish his writings, he specified that he must
remain anonymous. He seems to know about things that he shouldn’t. Quite frankly, Mad Marv scares the hell out of everyone
who knows him. Thankfully—and again at his request—our primary means of communication with him are by e-mail and
telephone.
It’s hard
to have an author page without any information, so after weeks of pleading we got permission to issue the following: Mad Marv
is a high-school dropout, only reads nonfiction, and hates seafood.
Despite all of
the weirdness, Mad Marv is an incredible writer. His first published work, Man-Made
Monsters, gives a better view into the mind of this man than any biography could ever hope to do. His writing is dark
and disturbing, with a cynical nature that borders on paranoia. He has a genuine distrust of those in power. He fears that
the combination of greed and technology is eating away at our moral fiber and will ultimately destroy mankind.
Mad Marv is currently
working on his second book, Cryptic Creatures, a collection of stories about the
illusive entities that have thrilled believers and confounded skeptics for centuries. Big Foot and the Loch Ness Monster exist,
but not necessarily in the way that most researchers think they do. It promises to shed some light on these and other myths
while spreading darkness in the reader.
