Spread
The Word
Every great plan
for world conquest started out small. CAP is a true Mom and Pop (mostly Pop) operation. We don’t have a huge staff or
unlimited advertising funds. As such, we rely heavily on word of mouth and underground channels to promote our books. If you
enjoyed reading one of our books and would like to help spread the word, here are a few simple things you can do:
- Tell a friend. Tell all your friends, co-workers, neighbors,
strangers on the train, etc. Give them the link to this website.
- Submit a gushing review to Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com. Crypto-American Press books are available on these sites and more. If you’d like to leave a review for Man-Made Monsters, click here.
- Create a list on Amazon.com. Users can make lists of their favorite books, CDs, and DVDs that will appear when certain items are viewed. Put
Man-Made Monsters on a list of your top horror fiction.
- Search and view. Every time you visit Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com,
or any online bookseller, search for and view Man-Made Monsters. Most of these
sites have programs that keep track of what people are looking at. They use this information to make recommendations to other
shoppers.
- Link it. If you have a website or blog, feel free to link
to us. If you would like to review one of our books, contact us and we’ll send you some promotional materials and images.
- Pass it on. Obviously, we are trying to sell books, but we
also are interested in establishing a fan base for our authors. If you’ve read one of our books and loved it, lend it
to a friend. Get ‘em hooked on Mad Marv and we’re sure they’ll come back for more. This is how crack dealers
do business, and we all know how successful they are.
We are not asking
you to help promote our titles if you think they suck, but if you really believe in one or more of our books, the suggestions
listed above can create a buzz. These easy-to-do actions will help ensure that we can continue to publish CAP-types of horror
fiction. And finally, you might want to consider this: When we do ultimately achieve world domination, which list do you want to be on, Friends or Enemies?
