Scouting Report: Last week we had some minimal participation in the California Dreamin' hockey clinic. Word on the street was our kids looked pretty good, but need to shake off the rust. Coach Dave is already using his giant hockey brain to put together the offensive lines.  Also, we signed a new kid. I don't know much about him, but he's got the coolest name on the team: Alex BLIZZARD.

A Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Waste: I can believe I have to write this, but you people need to learn how to read. Nicole sends out tons of e-mails and keeps the whole team up to date on everything. Why is it that you guys are always asking her questions that have already been answered in her correspondence? Want to know what time practice is? It's in the e-mail. Want to know when something is due? It's in the e-mail? She even gets people replying to e-mails with questions that are answered in the original e-mail attached below. Also, if you get an e-mail that requires a response, RESPOND! Don't wait until she has to send out a second or third. Sticking with this theme: last week I ran a POTW poll and explained that the candidates were the only four people who posted a comment on this website. I still had people asking me why they weren't included. Had they read the small paragraph above the poll they would have known why. Maybe I should start posting in hieroglyphics.
